The NFL is pretty stingy with their content and that makes it hard for Miami Dolphins fans to get videos. That ended today when the Miami Dolphins and DeskSite announced a partnership that will bring HD video up too 5 hours a week to your desktop, laptop, or other smart device. Including tablets and video game systems.
DeskSite will bring you video playback in HD straight from the team with no worries of dropped vids. The “Big Screen” app can be downloaded now from the Miami Dolphins main site.
Here is an un-official announcement describing the partnership:
The Dolphins DeskSite is a new digital video entertainment network for Mac and PC which launched today, Tuesday, October 15, in partnership with the Miami Dolphins to bring exclusive HD video content directly to Dolphins fans everywhere. Featuring exclusive video content directly from the team, the Miami Dolphins DeskSite enables instantaneous video playback without any buffering, freezing and frame-dropping normally associated with streaming. Essentially a DVR for the Internet, Dolphins fans can instantly rewind, fast-forward and play video content in slow-motion – even when they’re offline.
The “Big Screen” app has been specifically designed for desktops, laptops, tablets, game consoles and smart TVs and fans can download the DeskSite directly from the Miami Dolphins website. Users can expect to receive at least five (5) hours per week of Dolphins video in true HD, which aggregates straight to the downloaded app instantly. Game analysis and highlights, cheerleader profiles, coach interviews and press conferences are among some of the great content the Dolphins DeskSite offers.
