Solphins' Unbiased Week 8 NFL Power Rankings

Sorry this one is late; I was on vacation.

Power Rankings around the internet are something everyone looks at. They are analyzed and scrutinized, for the problem with Power Rankings are they are completely opinionated. This in itself takes the credibility out of these rankings and people stop looking at the rankings and pay more attention to the writer.

In my opinion, the Rankings should be done mathematically. Instead of speculating where a team should be, the team should earn its spot. I have developed a system that gives each team a score. That score is put in place since week 1 and is the same equation for each team.

The score is based on 3 elements:
1. The win/loss record of the team.
2. The win/loss record and strength of the teams they have played.
3. The points differential. (Since the NFL is a most points win game.)

Week 8 Power Rankings

The Jacksonville Jaguars have not moved their team to L.A. (yet). This is the only reason I can come up with on why they have not signed Tim Tebow. This would be a great strategy on Khan’s part to make sure they are the worst team, so it would be an easier transfer.

Also, I did have one biased act. I usually make the team with the largest jump for the week the main cover picture, but I am not going to post a picture of the Jets winning… just not going to happen.
