Report: Brandon Gibson Likely Out for Year After Injury Against Patriots

The Miami Dolphins will lose another player for the rest of the season.

Brandon Gibson, a significant weapon for second-year for Ryan Tannehill, will likely miss the rest of the 2013-14 season, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com.

Recently, Breer added that Gibson’s injury is believed to be a torn patella tendon.

Gibson, who scored in Sunday’s game against the Patriots, has been a productive receiver for Joe Philbin and company recording 29 receptions for 322 yards and two touchdowns prior to Sunday.

Rishard Matthews will likely be his replacement.

I wonder who will take Gibson’s place on the roster? Nathan Palmer who is currently on the practice squad? Or will they sign someone. Maybe Marcus Thigpen moves to WR.

I think Thigpen would be a smart move. Rishard Matthews will help.
