Dolphins Add Receiver Marlon Moore

The headline to this article is accurate and to be honest, it’s not a bad thing.  The Miami Dolphins have added former 49′er and Miami Dolphin Marlon Moore to the roster.  They cut offensive lineman Ryan Spadola.  The move gives Miami another WR that they have been short of us since Brandon Gibson tore his patellar tendon against the New England Patriots a week ago.

The Dolphins went into the regular season with only four WR’s and lost two from their practice squad.  Marvin McNutt to Cleveland and Brian Tyms to Carolina…or was it the other way around?  Eh, they are gone.

Moore had a solid pre-season with the 49′ers but has contributed little in the regular season.  The move of Moore will give the 9′ers the roster spot to add Michael Crabtree who is coming back after injury.

Spadola was listed as a WR. I would have preferred Miami poach a WR off someone else’s practice squad. Marlon Moore knows Miami’s offensive system, but that’s about all.

Miami about to sign G David Arkin off the cowboys practice squad to fill one of the oline positions.
