Good news for the Miami Dolphins and their fans, the Carolina Panthers will be without their defensive end Charles Johnson.

Johnson, who is leading the Panthers with 8.5 sacks this season, will miss Sunday’s game against the Dolphins, according to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer. He was originally listed as doubtful but quickly turned into officially out.

In Monday’s game against the New England Patriots, he was leg whipped by offensive lineman Marcus Cannon. Johnson sprained his MCL on the player, and the aftermath is he will miss the game in Miami.

Let’s see if the Dolphins can take advantage of the absence of the emphatic, athletic defensive end who has been one of the many faces of Carolina’s defense.
