Miami Dolphins Don’t Have Time To Be Conservative

Balance on Offense? Save that for someone who cares.

Prevent Defense? Stop showing me how to lose.

Time for conservative natures to be put to rest. I’m exhausted with the lip service I’ve been hearing for weeks from coaches about the ebb and flow of the game and how the team had a great day of practice, blah blah blah.

I’m in a Missouri State of Mind these days, SHOW ME! Show me you have some common sense to combine with those years of experience and football intelligence.

Attack the opponent, dictate the tempo, go deep early and often, blitz them early and often, don’t sit back and cool your heels when you have a lead. Stomp on the gas and Go Go Go! You wanna use that as your cadence all day long… Well fine, just as long as you don’t run a stretch play right into the teeth of a blitz.

This team, in my eyes, is clearly more talented than our division rival Jets. The Jets… J.E.T.S, Suck, Suck, Suck but they have the same record as the Fins because they play with SWAG, their coaches attack early and often. They go for the gusto and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but at least they Go For It, even if it’s rooted with arrogance and stupidity.

Every game the Dolphins have lost this season has been due to some sort of lack of motivation, maybe its because they’ve been consistently out coached in an aggressive regard all season long. Yes, the players on the field win the game and they’ve been able to pull out 5 victories due to their will, but in this game you need that same will to win from the coaches in charge.

Don’t be afraid to go for it on fourth and short, don’t be afraid to blitz at the end of the half because your protecting a lead, don’t be afraid to kick an onside kick or call trick plays multiple times a game. Show confidence in your team and they will respond in kind.

With their playoff fates on the line, conservative natures need to curbed and have a dog’s mentality backed against the wall brought out on game day, because in truth that’s where their playoff hopes are, with their backs against the wall. The Ravens beat the Steelers during Thanksgiving and made their path to the 6th seed that much more difficult, but maybe, just maybe, if these Miami Dolphins finish the season as hot as they started it, then the playoffs can be attainable. FINS UP!
