The Miami Dolphins lost Daniel Thomas last week and now as a result, Mike Gillislee will get his first NFL regular season action. The Dolphins activated the rookie runner today.
The Dolphins are thin at RB where Lamar Miller will try and take up the slack against a very solid run defense by the New York Jets. The Dolphins only have Gillislee and Marcus Thigpen in the back-field along with multi-purpose hybrid Charles Clay.
The Dolphins also activated all of their safeties and both Sam Brenner and Dallas Thomas are both active on the offensive line. Dimitri Patterson is out as is Jamar Taylor.
