EJ Manuel and Stevie Johnson Won't Play on Sunday

News coming out of Buffalo states that Bills coach Doug Marrone has ruled EJ Manuel out for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Thad Lewis will take his place. Lewis defeated the Dolphins earlier this year but as we all know, the Dolphins in the beginning of the year is a completely different team than the Dolphins are now.

In addition, Marrone said that Stevie Johnson is most likely out for Sunday’s game. This is huge news as Johnson is a very good receiver.

This will force the Dolphins to change their game plan but I’m sure they aren’t complaining. I expect them to stuff the box and stop the run and force Lewis to beat them in the air. The Dolphins should have no problems with the game on Sunday if they come out and execute and play to the level that they are capable of.

I haven’t been more nervous for a game this season as I am for this one Matthew. I agree it is a break that Johnson is out, but in my opinion Thad Lewis is just as good as Manuel. You said it though, the problem Miami had last time was stopping Fred Jackson and the running attack. However, if they protect Tannehill and limit turnovers, they should still win. I am nervous though.
