The Miami Dolphins have established one of their most successful seasons in many years in the 2013 season, and it comes to fruition after four Dolphins are now Pro Bowlers.
On Friday, the NFL announced that Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, defensive end Cameron Wake, offensive lineman Mike Pouncey and punter Brandon Fields has been elected to the 2014 Pro Bowl.
Grimes, who should be in the conversation for the 2013 Comeback Player of the Year, captures his second selection since 2010 with the Atlanta Flacons. The 30-year-old defensive back has posted four interceptions along with 55 total tackles this season.
Wake, an enforcer on the strong defensive line, receives his second consecutive (third in total) selection. He has shelved 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and 35 combined tackles this campaign.
Fields, who is arguably the most underrated player on the roster, and Pouncey, a vital player in keeping the offensive line in tact, both receive their first career Pro Bowl appearance, and have been remarkable contributors to the 2013 success.
