The Dolphins’ search for a new GM has finally ended. The team announced today that they will hire Dennis Hickey as their new General Manager.
Hickey previously served as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ director of player personnel. He failed to receive the job in Tampa as their new GM.
Miami’s search, which took much longer than originally expected, is finally over. After many hopefuls for the position declined, sometimes to remain in lesser positions, the Dolphins’ organization was on the verge of ridiculousness. The hire is by no means an attractive one, but that does not mean that Dickey will not be successful.
Only time will tell.
