David Canter Thinks Dolphins' Starks Is Gone

Did you listen to “On the FinSide” tonight?  You should.  Uber agent David Canter joined the show and one of the tidbits he shared was that Miami Dolphins D’lineman Randy Starks has played his last game for the Dolphins.

It should be noted that Canter does not represent Starks but his opinion is that Starks will draw interest from around the league and that there may be some bad blood left over in Miami.  Canter joined the team tonight to speak about the teams chances of signing some of their FA’s.

In regards to Starks, Canter feels that he will get a 7 million a year plus deal.  Of course he is an agent but given the Miami Dolphins off-season situation it’s likely that Starks will leave.  Canter believes that to be 100%.  He estimates 20 million guaranteed over 3 years.

It’s a small insight into the agents perspective.  To hear more...go here!

    Is take Soliai over Starks…
And BTW… The fregging MIAMI DOLPHINS STEVE FREGGING ROSS RAISED THE PRICE OF MY SEASON TICKETS!!!! Those bastards!!! 5 SEASONS WITHOUT A WINNING RECORD AND THEY RAISE PRICES ON US LOYAL FANS??? They told me they recalculated the prices to where some were over-priced and some under-priced??? And I happen to be in the wrong section!!! In the 18% that prices were raised!!! My luck!! I say screw them, I can watch them lose at home.. For Free!!!

are you getting the same addons as you got last year or did they add more to season tickets in 2014?

I think bad blood is over blown. Ireland is gone and I believe that is where majority of the problem was. With that said though, I think they have Soliai higher on the priority list. Odrick is similar to Starks, which makes Starks more expendable and there is no one there to replace Soliai. Unfortunately they will probably only bring back one being that majority of the free cap space will probably be used on fixing the OL and finding a RB.

I wish you had given more information, such as why he thinks there is bad blood between Starks and the team (or at least more so than with any other franchised player and the team he plays for), what other teams might be interested in him and why, and whether Canter represents other DTs/DEs (e.g., he might think that if he can drive up Starks’s price, that might drive up his client’s price as well), because all I got from this is: “I have no idea what I’m talking about, but it will make me look good if it comes true and people will likely forget I made such a prediction if it doesn’t”.
Furthermore, considering how the FA CB market melted down last year, I think it’s quite possible that Canter may be greatly overemphasizing how much Starks might likely receive on the open market.

Sounds like he’s just trying to drive up the price of Solilai. LOL…

It sounded like we will be losing both Starks and Big Sol. This years draft will go something like this.
    RD1. OL
    RD2 DL
    RD3. DL
    RD4 OL
    RD5. OL
    RD6. DL
    RD7. RB
