Incognito Finishes Self Check In

The Miami Dolphins don’t want him but someone will.  Eventually.  And they will get him cheap.  Richie Incognito checked himself into a mental facility shortly after taking a bat to his Ferrari.  He has since finished his treatment and has returned to the world of instant messaging via Twitter.

Incognito made a quick thank you Tweet to his family and friends and then said it was ready to get back to work.  Sadly Incognito would help Miami fill the hole they have on the line but “that ain’t gonna happen”.

The next step is to line up interviews with teams but reality says teams will likely wait to see how he does during the off-season and then bring him in during training camp.  Someone will sign the productive guard and his contract will likely be incentive laden with a league minimum or slightly higher deal.  If he is on a roster come opening day his full contract for 2014 will be guaranteed under the CBA.  So it’s likely that he will get signed at the start of camp.

Sure would be fun to see him sign with the team who gets to do the next HBO Hard Knocks.  Might make for some interesting viewing.  Wish him good luck wherever he lands.
