NFL Pro-Bowl Comes Back To Mainland

If you have ever wanted to watch the most meaningless game of the NFL season…yes even more meaningless than pre-season games, you may find it cheaper to this coming season.  The NFL announced today that next years, this years Pro-Bowl game will be played one week prior to the Super Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona.

The NFL toyed with this the last time Miami hosted the big game.  It was sent back to the pacific a year later.  The NFL has agreed to host the game back in Hawaii for the 2016 season but it’s not an iron clad commitment.  Over the years the Pro-Bowl has become a joke with Arena League scoreboards.  Last years Pro-Bowl even showcased a “fantasy draft” style selection process to form the teams.

The NFL is hoping to generate more mainland buzz for the game.  The stadium will likely fill as it is rare for many to see so many players of that talent level in one place.
