Who I want:  C.J. Mosely

I want the Dolphins to take C.J. Mosley at 19th overall because he would be able to come in compete with the Dolphins LB crew who last year was so bad.  He would not be a reach at 19 unlike Moses or Cyrus, and has tremendous upside.  Mosley is a proven player and is a complete three down LB.

Who I think:  Trade Down

I think the Miami Dolphins will trade down.  Assuming Zack Martin is off the board (and all signs are pointing to him being gone), I don’t think Hickey will take a lineman and if Mosley is not left they will trade down.  I personally believe a lot of QB’s will go early in this draft, and Miami will find a QB needy team to trade with them.  I see the Dolphins adding a couple picks and comfortably moving to the end of the first or early second where they would not have to reach for their lineman.

Options:

In the end, I would absolutely love to see the Dolphins take C.J. Mosley, Zack Martin or Taylor Lewan (if they are there) or even a rangy receiver like Odell Beckham Jr. or Brandin Cooks.  I would love for the Dolphins to not reach or even trade down if possible, seeing that this draft is so deep.  I would not mind a Ryan Shazier or Bradley Roby type of defensive ball hawk either.  When it is all said and done, I just hope Hickey and the FIns dont reach for a second round talent at 19th overall.
