The Miami Dolphins have started signing their draft picks. 5th round LB Jordan Tripp has signed his contract according to Rotoworld.com. Tripp will likely be a special teams player in his first season but that is something he was used to at Montana. Tripp has displayed a hard charging motor who finishes plays.
While still a year away from possibly taking over at one of the LB spots, the signing should start to bring in other Dolphins rookies.
Tripp was a standout OLB at Montana. In his four years at Montana, Tripp played in 40 games starting 25 of them. He registered 74 tackles and 161 assistants for 235 total tackles. He had nine sacks and 24 tackles for losses. He added two interceptions and six blocked punts. He had seven fumble recoveries and caused four fumbles of his own.
