The Miami Dolphins players were given the day off on Monday and for some of those players, three to be exact, it would be a final day off. The Dolphins announced that they have signed three players and released three others.
The players that have left the team are un-drated rookies. Brock Jensen the North Dakota State quarterback has been let go as has linebacker Derrell Johnson and guard Davonte Wallace.
To fill the roster spots the team added Seth Lobato a quarterback who went un-drafted out of Northern Colarado, defensive end D’Aundre Reed and tight end Brett Brackett.
None of the three signings are expected to make the final roster and will compete for a chance at the teams practice squad if they can impress their coaches throughout camp.
The move comes one day after the team made two other moves on Monday. The Dolphins released wide-out Gerald Ford and offensive lineman Michael Phillipp so they could add OT’s Tony Hills and Steven Baker.
