This Saturday night the Miami Dolphins prepare to step onto their field in Sun Life Stadium for their first live action taste of home cooking. The Miami Dolphins play host to Tony Romo’s Dallas Cowboys, with Ryan Tannehill and the Fins looking to make a statement in their 3rd preseason game of the year and season’s dress rehearsal.
The game is set to air at 7pm eastern time on CBS 4 with Dick Stockton and former Miami Dolphins Greats Bob Griese and Nat Moore accompanying him on the broadcast of the game. In Dallas, Cowboys fans will get the pleasure of watching Bill Jones and former Cowboy Babe Laufenberg on CBS 11 airing at 6pm central time.
This is the NFL’s most anticipated week of the preseason as starters usually play into the half and for a majority of the third quarter. Teams traditionally use the 3rd preseason game of the year to get their starters and regular contributors into the flow of a game plan. Using repetitions with one another to get acclimated and find that rhythm they want for week 1 of the regular season. The Miami Dolphins will look to build some momentum for the regular season and this game on Saturday could potentially be the catalyst or road block.
Sun Life Stadium won’t have any kind of roofing for another 2 years, so weather may play a factor. Although preliminary weather reports indicate predominantly clear skies and a humid night with only a slight chance of rain. Fans please get to the game or tune into your pre-game shows early, support your favorite team. FINS UP!
