Miami Dolphins vs. St. Louis Rams A Quick Look

The Miami Dolphins will be playing their final preseason game at Sun Life Stadium on Thursday. This game will determine an abundance of football lives. This will be the first time the Rams will be playing the Dolphins in the preseason since 2006. The Miami Dolphins hold a 2-1 record over the Rams in preseason play.

This game will be devoted to all of the third and fourth stringers such as Jordan Kovacs, Daniel Thomas, and others. Those players need a strong showing if they want to stay on the roster. Especially Daniel Thomas who should be extremely distressed about his place on the roster. Knowshon Moreno’s strong outing last week, coupled with the emergence of undrafted rookie Damien Williams does not bode well for Thomas. He has been overwhelmingly underwhelming this offseason for the Dolphins.

WR’s Matt Hazel and Kevin Cone will probably not make the cut, due to the fact the Dolphins are deep at the wide out position. However, they should quickly find work soon as there are plenty of receiver needy teams in need of weapons. Teams such as the Patriots and Browns are in need of offensive weaponry and could use those players. Those players won’t be having trouble finding work.

Hopefully, this game will show who the Miami Dolphins starting kicker will be. Caleb Sturgis injury has brought issues. From Danny Hrappman to Jake Potter and now Jake Rogers. Hopefully this game will shed some light on the situation.

This is it, the final exhibition game. Dreams will be achieved and jobs will be lost. Hopefully those who make it the team will provide to be a help to the team in any way possible. Regular season, here we come.
