It’s time again for our Monday morning game balls following Sunday’s win against the Chicago Bears!

The Miami Dolphins have improved to 3-3 on the season and are keeping a tepid pace in the AFC East. The win on Sunday won’t likely play a big role in tie breaking procedures but it should have a profound impact on a team who was walking a razor’s edge. The win is the first victory of the season over a team that was supposed to be competing for a playoff spot since the team beat New England to open the season. Yes it is hard to believe that the Dolphins until yesterday had only beaten New England and Oakland. Losing to Kansas City, Buffalo, and Green Bay.

The road ahead doesn’t get much easier aside from Jacksonville this coming weekend. Jacksonville won on Sunday over the Cleveland Browns taking away a trap game possibility for Miami. Not that Jacksonville will be an easy opponent. No one ever is. Following Jacksonville however there are no easier games.

With Sunday in the books and fans clinging to new hope for the season we hand out or game balls.

Ryan Tannehill: This weeks MVP is the teams much maligned quarterback. Tannehill was 25/32 for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He could have had more but penalties and two dropped passes ended scoring chances. Tannehill led the team for the first time in his career and by leading I mean taking the team on his back and driving for a victory for a full 60 minutes. If driving weren’t enough Tannehill added 48 yards on six rushing attempts as well.
