Normally, I don’t do NFL power rankings but it seems like all the rage. So I figured why not. Let’s face it until training camp starts or the Miami Dolphins sign Evan Mathis, there isn’t much to talk about. Everyone has their own opinions on where teams should rank in the NFL order but right now, all teams are tied at 0-0.

Even though I don’t normally do these things I am putting some effort into it. I’m not simply going to throw the Dolphins into a slot to make everyone happy or sink them too low to piss everyone off so I get a ton of hate comments. I simply want to put forth a reasonable pre-camp ranking for all of you who, well, like this sort of thing.

1. team. 49. The Green Bay Packers may very well be the team to beat in 2015. Most of their team is returning and there is no reason to believe they won’t be challenging for the Super Bowl this season. I believe this is the year they knock Seattle off.. . . Green Bay Packers

2. team. 36. Seattle should have won the Super Bowl if not for a boneheaded play. The Seahawks should win the NFC West this year but will be challenged by Arizona.. . . Seattle Seahawks

3. team. 47. To be honest I think this is a little high for the defending Super Bowl Champions. Despite the championship last year, the Patriots have big holes in the secondary and Tom Brady’s suspension, if upheld, could put the Patriots in an early hole.. . . New England Patriots

123. Dallas was impressive last year right up until they got eliminated from the playoffs. Most of the team is returning and their defense is very solid.. . . Dallas Cowboys. 4. team

Denver Broncos. 5. team. 45. While I’m not sure that the Broncos have the same level of talent they did two seasons ago they still have Peyton Manning.. .

Is it finally time for Andrew Luck to lead the Colts to the Super Bowl? They have the talent. Last year they were one deflated ball away from the Super Bowl…and about 45 points.. . . Indianapolis Colts. 6. team. 46

7. team. 32. Last year Carson Palmer looked really good until he was injured. The Cardinal defense is very good and their offense will be improved this year.. . . Arizona Cardinals

. Baltimore Ravens. 8. team. 26. Well coached, the Ravens still find ways to win without big name talent at key positions. Joe Flacco is not elite but he is very consistent..

team. 54. Chip Kelly made a lot of changes to the teams roster this year including a swap of starting QB’s. Sam Bradford is an injury waiting to happen but if he stays healthy, the Eagles could be very good.. . . Philadelphia Eagles. 9

. Carolina Panthers. 10. team. 87. Carolina is looking stronger and last year they came close to beating the Seahawks to advance to the NFC Championship game. They may not get there this season but they should make the playoffs..
