Week 1- Anthony Fasano
Anthony Fasano - 8 catces, 84 yards, 1 touchdown in opening week 1 loss to the Jets. Fasano became a go to target for QB Chad Pennington as the Dolphins 4th quarter rally fell short in the final seconds.
Chad Henne - The Dolphins QB comes in late in the 4th quarter in relief of starter Chad Pennington. The Dolphins were blown out early in this week 2 contest, but Chad Henne took the Dolphins down the field for a 76 yard scoring drive. It would be the Dolphins only touchdown drive of the day.
Ronnie Brown - Brown the led the Dolphins with 5 TD’s in the Phins first victory of the season against the New England Patriots during a 38 - 13 blowout. Brown would run for 4 TD’s (3 from the “WildCat” formation) and throw one TD out of the same. Brown rushed for 117 yards as well.
Miami Dolphins Offensive line - With 2 sacks allowed, the Offensive line pulled up the boot straps to open holes for a 167 yard ground day and 228 yards through the air. The Oline paved the way for the Dolphins second straight win, this time against the visiting San Diego Chargers.
Despite a losing effort, Patrick Cobbs was stellar against the Houston Texans. He scored 2 TD’s on 3 receptions for 138 yards.
The Dolphins lost to the Baltimore Ravens but it was Joey Porter who made a statement in the game. Porter finished the game with 4 tackles but registered 2 sacks in the loss and harrassed the Baltimore offense all day.
The Dolphins found themselves once again facing a winning opponent and knocked them off. In the game Ted Ginn made his long awaited offensive breakout by catching 7 passes for 170 yards as the Dolphins beat their division rival Buffalo.
With 4 tackles, 1 Int, and 1 TD, Allen helped the Dolphins to their 2nd consecutive victory as the Phins beat the Denver Broncos in Denver.
Williams posted 105 yards rushing and 1 touchdown on 12 carries. His TD put the Dolphins up 14-0 in the first half. The Phins would go on to win the game against the Seattle Seahawks 21-19 with critical two critical first downs by RW.
