<div></div>
<div>Free agency is less then 24 hours away amd there are more rumors flying around then ever. The biggest is Mike Wallace will be soon joining the dolphins. There are a lot of reports that people around the league see Wallace going to the dolphins. That is both good and bad, Wallace wants to go where it is warm and get paid. Miami offers both, and so far is the best candidate. But the Dolphins were in this same spot last year with Payton Manning last year, it didn&#8217;t take long until a dark horse came out and Payton then landed in Denver.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Wallace, should end up in Miami though, Ireland knows he can not drop the ball anymore and he NEEDS to join the Dolphins. Miami has not had a true number one wide receiver since Brandon Marshall was traded last offseason. Wallace does something Marshall could not, he makes the players around him better. Marshall could not make any other player around him better. Wallace has the ability to open up areas for a Brian Hartline or Davone Bess to catch passes underneath.</div>
<div></div>
<div>The receiving core could also changing up more when free agency begins. Slowly talks are starting to heat up about the Dolphins possibly signing another receiver, Gibson from the Rams or Even Wes Welker who the Dolphins traded away just a few years ago. But to gain one of these it would be highly likely that Davone Bess may be on his way out of Miami.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Everything we have heard up to this point has been nothing but speculation. Nothing is going to happen until 4 o&#8217;clock eastern time. From then on Jeff Ireland will start his plan to make the Miami Dolphins a competitor in 2013.</div>

<div>Earlier today SI reported that the Pats have reached a contract extension with Tom Brady.</div>
<div>It is for 3 years for 27 million. By accepting this deal Tom has helped the Patriots off the field as much as on the field. Because of the contract the pats now have a little over 7 million in cap space.</div>
<div></div>
<div>There are many ways the Pats can go after locking up its superstar for 3 more years. Wes Welker rejoining New England doesn&#8217;t sound too far fetched anymore. Or Ed Reed could join the Pats, after showing interest in it during the playoffs. But the one thing the Pats need is speed and a deep threat at the WR position. Mike Wallace is that, could Wallace join New England making an explosive almost the best in the league. It may not happen but just a. Possibility.</div>
<div></div>
<div>On a side note there was a report of Philbin not being interest in Greg Jennings. I&#8217;m not sure how reliable this source is but it is something to keep an eye on with only two weeks until free agency.</div>

<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>These last few days have been very interesting for the Miami Dolphins. Reports are starting to come out that the Dolphins will go after both Mike Wallace and Greg Jennings.</div>
<div></div>
<div>That does not mean they will get both&#8230; Or either. Wallace is asking about 12 a year for five years. Jennings is asking 14 a year. Jennings is a great wide receiver, but has has trouble staying healthy. If the Dolphins were to sign both they would have about 20 million left to fill many other holes.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Jeff Ireland wanted to close the gap between the Dolphins and the Patriots. To do that the Dolphins need more then two wide receivers. There is a better option then Jennings, Brian Hartline. I&#8217;ve said it time and time again that he would only improve with the addition of Wallace. Jennings is a great route runner and pass catcher, but so is Hartline&#8230; For about half the price. The Dolphins drafted Hartline and to get rid of him would be a repeat of Wes Welker just a few years ago.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Two other plays that may come into the Phins view as early as this weekend. Michael Turner and  Nnamdi Asomugha. The Dolphins could get a second chance at Turner, who is going to be cut by the Falcons. He would be a great third down back behind Lamar Miller, for the right price of corse. Asomugha is an okay corner who the Dolphins will look at. Nnamdi is an overhyped corner who got over paid by the eagles, after being the number one corner on a subpar team. But the Dolphins love those players, don&#8217;t they?</div>
<div></div>
<div>It is very hard to see what the Dolphins will do next month, but it will be very exciting and hopefully but the team over the hump!</div>
