Greg Bedard: Live camp blog
By Brian Miller
The Miami Dolphins are in camp as I write this. Can’t get to camp today to watch yourself? No worries. Can’t get on to the Palm-Beach Post? No worries. We got you covered. Join me here for Greg Bedards’ “LIVE” camp blog.
Rather read it over there? No worries, follow this link here and enjoy.
"Andre Goodman, Joe Toledo and Kyle Eckel are not practicing. OT Marion Dukes has not been spotted yet. The Dolphins’ two remaining NFL Europa players, WR P.K. Sam and DT Kevin Vickerson, are on the field;Ted Ginn Jr. is fielding the first punt. He looks healthy to me. Here’s the rest of the order of returners: Az Hakim, Lorenzo Booker, Travis Daniels, Marty Booker and Chris Chambers;"

"A surprisingly solid crowd is on hand for Breakfast with the Dolphins;I’m resisting putting up the first-team units because some funky stuff is going on right now. Anthony Alabi and Drew Mormino are at RT and RG with C Samson Satele, LG Chris Liwienski, and LT Vernon Carey. Must be some sort of weird right side/left side drills. Will update when true team drills get going;"
Alabi had reportedly shown up out of shape. I’m not sure what these changes are all about, but I suppose we will know more. It appears though that the staple on the Oline will be rookie Satelle. This kid could be a real steal.
"Ginn just made a spectacular one-handed catch in the end zone with his left hand as he was running a post down the right side of the field. That drew the first round of applause from the fans. There was no defense on the field; You can forget about Ronnie Brown’s weight being a possible problem. He looks extremely trim and is in great shape;QB snaps were taken in this order: Trent Green, Cleo Lemon, John Beck, Gibran Hamdan;First-team offense QB Trent Green RB Ronnie Brown FB Cory Schlesinger WR Chris Chambers WR Marty Booker TE David Martin LT Vernon Carey LG Chris Liwienski C Samson Satele RG Drew Mormino RT Anthony AlabiFirst-team defense DE Matt Roth DT Vonnie Holliday DT Keith Traylor DE Jason Taylor LB Joey Porter LB Zach Thomas LB Channing Crower CB Will Allen CB Travis Daniels S Yeremiah Bell S Renaldo HillCB Shirdonya Mitchell had a nice breakup of a pass intended for Chris Chambers;Practice is about to conclude. Like I said, it was fairly uneventful since there were no “team” drills. Edgar will be back with the afternoon session. If anything interesting is said in the locker room here after practice, I’ll be sure to let you know."
