Here are my NFL Power Rankings heading into week 4.
1:
(1) Screw ESPN and the Patriots, until the Super Bowl Champs lose or NE beats them, they stay number 1.
2:
(2) So far the Pats have put up 38 points. In each game.
3:
(4) Made Chicago finally realize that Rex Grossman is not the answer.
4:
(5) O.k. they beat the 49ers, but they really BEAT the 49ers.
5:
(3) Dropping quickly. Still they are so much better than their record indicates. If this continues they will drop quite a bit.
6:
(8) The Ravens should be able to stay right here unless SD loses again. No real challenge this week against Cleveland.
7:
(7) Went out and handed Cincy their 2nd loss in consecutive weeks.
8:
(14) 3-0 and yes they beat SD. Was it because they are that good or was it that fluke weekend? My guess is they are that good…right now
9:
(10) This is the final top 10 for the Bears. Their defense is playing well but they are still losing. Griese is now the QB, let’s see how he does.
10:
(10) The Panthers rebounded with a win over the winless Falcons. No jump today.
11:
No last minute magic for the boys in Denver

(15) Just came up short against the G-men. How short? About 1 yard.
13:
(11) A loss to the Ravens is hardly anything to worry about…yet.

(15) Showed a little more life against the Redskins.

(16) Would have won by more but McNabb fumbled a ball… 🙂

The Bengals defense is horrible and with the Patriots coming to town this week, it won’t likely look much prettier.

(18) Tough battle against the SB Champs. And had a shot.

(17) The Vikings have some serious issues all of a sudden.

(20) Can anyone be impressive against the Saints?

(19) A really bad performance exposed a lot of holes in that defense.

(22) Only because they are better than the Rams

(21) No Steven Jackson? Heck the offense already can’t score. Thought Linehan was a genius?

Still have a win and have played competitive in all 3 game.

Who cares? They played ugly and managed to win.

This team is running the ball well and is playing decent on defense, still a lot of questions but this team is looking like it could be the best of the bottom.
26:
The Chiefs finally won a game. Beating the Vikings in a close contest. Was it the aura of Arrowhead or a sign of things to come? My guess for now is that it is the “aura”.
27:The Dolphins lost a close game that they should have won. This time the Special Teams let the rest down. Maybe this week it comes together…or they just start over with turns again.
28: They still have a long way to go…a LONG way to go.
29:
This is a team decimated by injuries. This week saw LB Posluzsky get put on IR, Losman get injured, and their TE…Who’s next? Beats me but they are still better than Cleveland…for now.
30:
Well, the Bengals game was a fluke. Derek Anderson looked horrible after throwing 6 touches the week before.
31:
The only thing fun to watch with these birds is the tirades of DeAngelo Hall.
32:
Last year the Saints and Drew Brees were almost unstoppable. This year, the bags are back.
