The Draft will start in just a few hours and we are ready to roll out, once again, our 5th consecutive “LIVE NFL DRAFT CHAT”.  In the meantime, I am posting our staff picks for the Miami Dolphins.  It’s who they want the Phins to pick, who they don’t want them to pick, and who they think will get picked.  Enjoy!  And remember to join us when you begin watching tonight’s NFL Draft coverage!

• Who I don’t want:  Xavier Rhodes, CB, DJ Fluker, or a trade up for an offensive lineman.
• Who I think the team will pick:  Someone other than Eiffert.  I’m going with Tank Carradine.

• Who I want The Dolphins To Pick in Round 1: I like Xavier Rhodes. Great upside and has a great combination of size,
• speed and athleticism
• Who I don’t want the Dolphins to Pick in Round 1: Any offensive lineman. Want to see a defensive playmaker!
• Who I think the Dolphins will pick in Round 1: Tyler Eifert. Another tight end makes sense for the Dolphins. You don’t know about Keller’s health. Eifert is a good talent to groom.

Michael Rosenbloom

• Who I want The Dolphins To Pick in Round 1: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
• How do you pass this guy up? Everytime he touches the ball, it’s electric. I know we have Mike Wallace, but seeing what Austin does with the ball in his hands…I can’t say no.
• Who I don’t want the Dolphins to Pick in Round 1: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama
• Just isn’t a difference maker. Warmack will be a beast on the offensive line but the Dolphins need something better than an OG at #12.
• Who I think the Dolphins will pick in Round 1: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
• Seems to make the most sense. Dolphins still lack a seam threat TE after signing Keller and Eifert is a beast at 6’6. He will give them the legitimate red zone threat that haven’t had for years.

• Who i dont want them to take: Xavier Rhodes
• Who I think they will take: Tyler Eifert

• Who I don’t want The Dolphins to Pick in Round 1: Jonathan Cooper OG North Carolina
• Who I think the Dolphins will pick in Round 1: Ezekiel Ansah DE BYU
