The Dolphins have lacked a pure ILB with the skill set of Mosley since Zach Thomas left the team. Mosley is all instincts and controlled aggressiveness. He has some game flaws but all players do. A three down LB, the Dolphins can rely on Mosley’s instincts to rush the passer, support the run, and drop into pass coverage when needed. Mosley is the top ILB in this years draft and should be available at number 19. The Dolphins would be hard pressed to find another linebacker with this guys ability out of the gate.
Mosley is a team leader and will lead from the start once he proves he can both play at this level and earns the respect of his teammates. He is a strong presence in the locker room as well and is as close to a defensive coaches dream as you can get. Mosley loves football. He loves being coached and will spend hours breaking down film. He is an all around gifted player that if on the board when Miami picks, would be, in my opinion, the best option for this team. Mosley is the type of player that makes a football team better and Miami needs that kind of player.
