Who I want the team to draft
CJ Mosley – LB – Alabama
Here is how my logic works. My primary target is Ebron, if he is off the board, my second target is Lewan. If both players are off the board, next I will focus my attention on Mosley, followed by Martin and Pryor. If all players are off the board, I will start entertaining the thought of trading down and calling a team in need of player that is available. Logic will tell us that our top two targets most likely will be off the board, as such, my first round pick is C.J. Mosley. Mosely brings an element to our game that we haven’t seen in a while. Well, a player we thought we had when we signed Karlos Dansby.
Who I think the team to draft
Tyler Lewan – OT – Michigan
This is Hickey first draft and unfortunately, he inherited a team that cannot line up right now. Hickey needs to address the right tackle position and if that means reaching for a player that might not have a first round grade, then he has to make the executive decision. Based on what is available when the draft board get set, I believe Hickey will target either Zack Martin or Tyler Lewan. I believe our selection will be Lewan, as his attitude might scare of some teams and allow him to fall to 19.
