AFC East: Players To Watch In 2014

Chandler Jones, New England Patriots
The New England Patriots had a breakout player in 2013 with defensive end Chandler Jones. Jones, who totaled 11.5 sacks last season, gave the Patriots a pass rush despite the loss of injured Vince Wilfork. Jones was selected 21st overall by the Patriots in the 2012 NFL draft out of Syracuse.
Jones, who is now entering his third NFL season, finished 7th in the league in terms of sacks last season, although only totaling two tackles in the postseason, along with no sacks.
With a New England Patriots team that has essentially dominated the AFC East, having an elite defense has proven to win championships. With Chandler Jones rushing off of the right end, if Jones can provide another premier pass rushing season, he can provide terror for the young quarterbacks of the AFC East.
Chandler Jones will be an interesting player to watch in 2014, as he will try prove he is a premier pass rusher in the NFL.
