Chris Johnson, New York Jets

One of the biggest story lines from the 2014 offseason includes the departure of running back Chris Johnson from his former team, the Tennessee Titans.  There was a lot of discussion of Johnson being traded out of Tennessee, discussions involving 3 of the 4 AFC East teams, including the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills.

Coming into his first year with the Jets, CJ2k looks to prove he is still an elite running back in the NFL following a few thousand yard rushing seasons.

Johnson, who got his “CJ2k” nickname while with the Titans, rushed for just over 2,000 yards in the 2009 season, in which the Titans went 8-8.

Chris Johnson seems to be itching for another breakout season now that he is with the Jets, and he has a clear intent to win.  CJ2k has been rumored to be recruiting Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson to the Jets as well, who has recently shown frustration with the Texans organization.

CJ2k, who has run for at least 1,000 yards every season since he joined the NFL in 2008, can be a scary site for AFC East defenses in 2014, making him a player to watch.
