Cortland Finnegan, Miami Dolphins

Another new face in the AFC East, Cortland Finnegan was acquired by the Miami Dolphins this offseason.  Finnegan, who is entering his 9th NFL season, spent his last two seasons with the Rams, and struggled through injuries in St. Louis.

Finnegan only started in 5 games last season while dealing with injuries, however he has said he is healed from his fractured orbital bone, and is ready to provide for the Miami Dolphins.

Heading into an offseason position battle, Finnegan will be battling with numerous youngsters including Jamar Taylor, and rookie Walt Aikens, on the opposing side of the field of pro-bowler Brent Grimes.

In a pass heavy league, and in a division where Tom Brady has threaded defenses, if the Miami Dolphins can upgrade their secondary with Cortland Finnegan, they may gain an edge in pass defense, making Cortland Finnegan a player to watch with the Dolphins in 2014.
