EJ Manuel/Thaddeus Lewis, Buffalo Bills
Last season the Buffalo Bills featured a quarterback carousel starting 3 different quarterbacks throughout the span of a year (Manuel, Lewis, Tuel). The Bills had high hopes for rookie EJ Manuel after he impressed the coaching staff through training camp and initially landed the starting job, however an injury ridden season for Bill’s quarterbacks led to an uncertain depth chart.
EJ Manuel started a total of 10 games in his rookie season, totaling a 4-6 record overall. Lewis on the other hand, started a total of 5 games and had a similar record, totaling 2 wins and 3 losses.
NFL.com had released a projected starters list for every NFL team, as EJ Manuel is expected to start at quarterback come week one for the Buffalo Bills.
With numerous offseason acquisitions and draft selections, the Buffalo Bill’s offense is seemingly improving. Keeping an eye on the production of the Bill’s quarterbacks may be a headline coming into the season in Buffalo, and we may see more changes if there is a lack of production.
