Have the time and need to get out of the hustle and bustle of London? There is plenty to do there as well. Two hours West you can visit, by train, Stonehenge and then visit Bath, the oldest natural spring in London. You can also take a trip to Stratford Upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Windsor Castle is where the Queen spends many of her days.
You can also drive 4 hours to Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles. There are plenty of sites to see along the way including many of the ones mentioned above. If you want to be really adventurous take the English Channel Ferry to Belgium and France. You may never get closer! Just remember, you need to be back in time for the Dolphins game on Sunday!
