Congratulations To Miami Dolphins Web Weekend Winners!

Over this past weekend the Miami Dolphins held their 11th “Web Weekend”. The event is a three day event hosted by the Miami Dolphins in a show of appreciation to the fan sites who cover the team. Around 30 sites were invited to this years event that began on Friday night at the teams training center in Davie, Fl.

Friday kicked off with a Q&A session with safety Michael Thomas and LB Jordan Tripp then moved on to Saturday where the sites participated in a Miami Dolphins Special Teams charity event, and then Saturday night where a facility tour and awards event took place. We will get to all of the other stuff for sure but first, we want to congratulate the sites that took home Web Weekend awards this year! I have links to each site so be sure to check them out!

Best Overall Site and Best News Content

We here at PhinPhanatic.com are very pleased and proud to have been awarded the award for Best Overall Site and Best News Content site. We share the latter with Phins.Com who also won the News award. The Best Overall Site award is named after Tom Eddie, an original member of the Web Weekend groups. Tom lost his life to cancer several years ago and has been the subject of many of our charitable drives over the years. It is an honor to receive and award with his name on it. The Webbie awards are voted on by all of the attending sites so each of them is an award received by our peers. Thank you to everyone who voted for PhinPhanatic.com this year and in years past. It drives me to work harder and challenges me to again churn out content for all of our readers!
