Denver did not look good against Miami until the 4th quarter and the Dolphins looked great against Denver…until the 4th quarter. The game between the Broncos and Chiefs will have huge playoff implications. A loss by the Broncos does not help the Dolphins here so rooting for Denver is a must. The Chiefs are 5-3 in the conference as are the Dolphins. A loss puts them one game back of Miami in conference standings and both teams would have the same regular season record. The Dolphins could potentially move from 10th to 6th with several losses happening this weekend but a loss by K.C. would open up both the 5th and 6th playoff seeds.
Kansas City has been holding down the 5th seed for most of the last month so a loss would change some of that landscape from the bottom up. Denver this week is our friend and a win by the Broncos will make it much easier for teams to pry one of those two Wild Card spots out of someone else’s grasp.
