With the free agency period all but over and the draft being moved back to May, the NFL got a little quiet during the month of April. Teams focused their attention on incoming draft prospects, pro-days, and facility workouts. Behind the scenes teams like the Miami Dolphins were finalizing their draft boards ahead of the May draft in New York.

The NFL announced that the annual Pro-Bowl game will take place in Arizona this year ahead of the Super Bowl and not in Hawaii. The Pro-Bowl has changed from a best of in each conference to a best of in the entire league. In addition rule changes make it a score heavy affair. Most fans have lost interest in the game. Teams are decided upon by “draft” by former players who are serving as captains to each team.

The NFL released the leagues pre-season schedule for the 2014 season.
