Our look into the 2014 season will continue today with the month of February. After opening the calendar year with the firing of Jeff Ireland and Mike Sherman and hiring Bill Lazor and Dennis Hickey, February would seem almost tame in comparison.

Texts between Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin are released. The context of the texts appeared at times to be good natured fun but unquestionably not for the faint of heart. Incognito and Martins case would have huge implications on the NFL as a whole and would become the first jab in an NFL abuse policy that would explode early in 2014.
