October 12th

The Dolphins get Mike Pouncey back who plays at guard while Samson Satele stays at center. Knowshon Moreno returns as does safety Reshad Jones. The Dolphins lead the Green Bay Packers for 58 minutes before giving up two late 4th quarter scores including a touchdown with two seconds left on the clock as they Dolphins lose. The loss is the first of four games on the season that will be lost in the waning moments of a game against some of the top teams in the league.

While Knowshon Moreno returned to action he would be knocked out of the game and lost for the season with an ACL injury.

October 13th

Joe Philbin meets with the media and tells reporters that his decisions late in the game made him queasy about throwing late to win the game.

Moreno officially placed on season ending IR.

October 14th

The Dolphins release return specialist Marcus Thigpen for a 2nd and final time.
