The loss to the Baltimore Ravens didn’t officially knock the Miami Dolphins out of the playoffs but it made it a lot less likely. Fan confidence waned as the Dolphins once again blew a lead and self destructed in the 2nd half. Leading the Ravens 10-7 at the break, the Dolphins managed to only score three points in the 2nd half while the Ravens ran their score up to 28. The loss put Miami on the outside looking and needing a lot of help to make the postseason. The Dolphins would also lose safety Louis Delmas for the season with a knee injury.

As a final note to the game, Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Jared Odrick is seen on the sideline yelling what appeared to be “every week” in the face of Joe Philbin. The incident would not amount to much but it showed the growing frustration within the franchise over the continual 2nd half and late 4th quarter losses.
