Miami Dolphins Season Review: December

The Miami Dolphins, despite a victory over the Minnesota Vikings are officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Vikings controlled the game against the Dolphins for the first half and most of the 2nd half. The teams trades scores as Ryan Tannehill played one of his best games as a pro. Still the Dolphins needed a last minute blocked punt out of the end zone to avoid over time winning the game 37-35.
Following the victory, a enthusiastic owner Stephen Ross entered the Dolphins locker room and declared that his head coach, Joe Philbin would return for the 2015 season. “Here is a Christmas gift for all of you,” Ross said to the media. “Coach Philbin is coming back next season so you don’t have to ask anymore.”
During halftime the Miami Dolphins inducted standout defensive lineman Manny Fernandez into the teams Ring of Honor.
