How much more does Brent Grimes have left in him? At least another year or two, maybe three. It could be argued that what happens opposite of Grimes is the most important part of this position but the reality is that if anything happens to Grimes, the Dolphins will have some serious issues.
Grimes is able to keep the cornerback unit working and his leadership on the field elevates the other corners on the roster. Jamar Taylor, Bryce McCain, and Will Davis will be learning from Brett but in reality it’s Grimes’ play on the field that could make the Dolphins defense a top five rather than a top ten.
