Take your pick here. Reshad Jones is the savvy veteran leader but there are concerns over the health of Louis Delmas who played well last year before going down to injury. The fact that Jones is listed here is only because I frankly don’t know who will take up shop at strong safety. Will it be Delmas having a full season of health or will Walt Aikens step up? My personal favorite for this year is Michael Thomas but will he impress the coaches from the start, to start? Is he ready?
Safety is going to be an important position for the team this year as they will provide the run support and over the top coverage. If the Dolphins fail to make the right decisions at corner opposite of Brent Grimes, then safety is going to play a big part of masking the coverage issues on that side. I will leave this one to you, in the comments. Who is going to be the biggest vital asset at safety this year?
