Tannehill’s placement as the number four quarterback may seem to be a little high but it stands to show just how thin the Dolphins have been at quarterback over the years. Last season Tannehill become only the 2nd quarterback in Dolphins history to throw for more than 4,000 yards in a single season. Currently he ranks third behind Marino and Griese eclipsing Jay Fiedler last season.
Tannehill also holds the most yards passing by a rookie with over 3,000 of course Marino didn’t play his entire rookie season starting only nine of 16 games and playing in 10. Marino threw for 2,210 yards in his rookie year in those 10 games. Tannehill also is 3rd in teams history in pass completions.
