Miami Dolphins At 50: Best Draft Picks
By Brian Miller
Number 8
Tim Ruddy
Tim Ruddy was not the Hall of Fame type center that the Miami Dolphins hoped he would be but he became a consistent player that held the line in tact for the Dolphins for 10 years making the Pro-Bowl once. Ruddy was so consistent that he following his rookie season where he made no starts, he only missed four games over the course of the next nine seasons. Ruddy over his career was able to adapt to the changing styles of his coaches. He played for Don Shula, Jimmy Johnson, and Dave Wannstedt.
