Tim Bowens
In the 1994 draft Don Shula opted for a big defensive lineman in round one. Bowens was named the AP’s Defensive Rookie of the Year leaving Shula with no regrets for making the pick. Bowens gave Miami 11 seasons and two Pro-Bowls. Like Tim Ruddy taken two rounds later, Bowens would play for three different coaches before he announced his retirement in 2004.
Bowens started 155 of the 157 games that he appeared in over his career. He had 22 sacks and 296 tackles.
