No. 6 – Duriel Harris

Harris spent nine seasons with the Dolphins and pieced together a five-year run of campaigns with over 500 yards.

A third round pick in the 1976 NFL Draft, his best season came in 1981 when Harris caught 53 passes for 911 yards. The 80th overall pick would go on to have a huge outing in the overtime playoff game known as the “Epic in Miami.” Harris racked up 106 yards on six receptions in a 41-38 defeat to the San Diego Chargers.

For the most part, Harris wasn’t a starting wideout. Harris only started most of the games at WR for Miami in four of his nine seasons as a Dolphin. Yet, Harris was able to garner the sixth most yards in franchise history with 4,534 yards. With his kick return duties he compiled 6,062 all-purpose yards.

After bouncing after Dallas and Cleveland in the 1984 season, Harris returned in 1985 in an extremely limited role only managing 24 yards on three receptions.

But Harris’ consistency and longevity are good enough to rank him sixth all-time among Dolphins wide receivers.
