No. 5 – Chris Chambers

Chris Chambers put up some of the best numbers that any Dolphins wide receiver has ever recorded, and his best quarterback was Jay Fiedler followed by a rotating door of mediocrity.

Chambers is fourth in career yardage and touchdowns as well as fifth in receptions and yards per game.

While with the Dolphins, Chambers broke the 1,000 yard mark only once but never fell below 650 yards in a single season.

He had his best season with the Dolphins in 2005 when he registered 82 receptions for 1,118 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Chambers’ rookie campaign was also one of his best. Chambers hauled down 48 catches for 883 yards and seven touchdowns. Those totals helped him to earn offensive rookie of the year honors through some outlets, but not the AP Rookie of the Year (which was awarded to Anthony Thomas).

However, Chambers would not play in the postseason while with the Dolphins. He was traded in 2007 missing out on the 2008 Wildcat season. He missed the Dolphins playoff game in 2001 with a sprained ankle. Both postseasons ended with losses to the Baltimore Ravens.
