Miami @ St. Louis

The Dolphins went into St. Louis and posted a 55-14 victory over the then St. Louis Cardinals in week 11.  Despite the teams 10-4 record Miami missed the playoffs due to tiebreakers with the Baltimore Colts.

The 41 point difference stands as the 7th largest victory margin in team history.

October 11th, 1987

Kansas City @ Miami

Kansas City visited Miami in week four. The Dolphins were 1-2 at that point in the season and brought their record to .500. The Dolphins finished the season 8-7 and placed third in the AFC East but in this game the Dolphins put 42 points on the board blanking the eventual 4-11 Chiefs.
