Is Dan Marino overrated?

PhinPhanatic has already proclaimed Dan Marino the best quarterback in franchise history in its top 10 list however something else needs to be said. Especially in the wake of a recent comment.
This is an interesting opinion. Wrong, but interesting. Miami Dolphins fans didn’t take kindly to this type of talk and a lot spoke out on Twitter. Here are two of the best that don’t include foul language.

There are only a few sacred cows in the history of this franchise. Don Shula and Dan Marino are most revered of the revered so claiming one wasn’t good enough brings on a world of hate from the most fanatical of Dolphins fans.
However, this isn’t an uncommon thought process. Some believe Marino is an overrated quarterback.
But for the sake of argument, let’s take a look at some of these so-called “hogwash” excuses and see if the argument is legitimate – in that I mean, Marino legitimately had those problems and no other quarterback won despite them.
