Drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Pryor was named to Pro-Football Focus’ All Rookie Team. He recorded 60 tackles in his rookie season and was one of the bright spots on a defensive secondary that ranked in the lower portion of the NFL. Pryor joined the Jets as a highly regarded safety out of Louisville.

“A learning curve,” Pryor said in an interview that aired on the team’s website Monday, the first day of the Jets’ offseason program. “I went through a lot of things last year—more bad than good. Which I think helped me.” Pryor told NJ.com.
Pryor has been moved to strong safety and will benefit from the additions of Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie in front of him.
