Selected with the 22nd pick in the 2006 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers, Manny Lawson has 23.5 sacks on his resume as well as 424 tackles.
Lawson spent his first five seasons with the 49’ers before joining the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He was signed by the Buffalo Bills in March of 2013 to a four year $12 million contract.
In 2013 Lawson switched from outside linebacker to defensive ended, a crowded position for the Bills this year he will move back to linebacker under head coach Rex Ryan.
While not the same impact player he was billed to be out of college, Lawson should provide the Bills and the AFC East with a consistent run stopping linebacker who can cut the edge.
